We started school during a historic time
Do you remember the things that you learned in school about the 60s and 70s? While we were not necessarily a part of the historical stuff, but we were the generation to witness it all. From the assassination of a sitting president, to the moon landing, to the invention of the home computer and more that we don’t even think of very often. Once you graduate high school the things that happened during your school time was history, and everything since then has been current events.
The world changed after the late 50s when television made making the new popular and fun, scary and ridiculous.
